Compendium

My name is Andrew. I'm not quite sure who exactly that is right now, so bear with me if I come off strange. I'm 20 years old. I like answering random questions, so don't be shy. I love running, shooting, and climbing. Ironically I get to do all of that for a living, and I hate it.

  • Some people lately. This person I’ve known for quite some time. Your anger deceives you. I know that all people must go through that stage, but please try to expedite your travels. Sure, I know you’re angry at the world, all people are in some way, and I know that you’re coming into a new part of your personality, but look at what that it becoming. It’s fine to grow as a person, growth is good. But control it. Define yourself. Don’t let it define you. These thoughts are good in moderation, they temper the mind, they can even bring clarity in the right situation. Help you to do things you normally couldn’t. But left unchecked it’s an infectious disease that will pollute the rest of you. You cannot take the hurt you carry and project it towards others, it will not bring you peace. It will bring but pain to those close to you. Calm yourself. Breathe. You used to say this to me all the time. Grow, and flourish, but don’t change in ways you cannot yet control. You are worthy of all things, but in return, all things are worthy of you. Don’t minimize others, because right now simple things is what they may need. Some day you may find yourself in need of something simple, and where will you turn if you’ve burnt the bridges laid before you? Replace your hate with love, temper your pride, and move beyond your arrogance. You showed me how to do this, now it is time for you to learn.
